Terms of Service
Last updated: 3 October 2026
1. Who we are
Craftstack AI Tutor at craftstackacademy.com (the "Service") is provided by:
- [SELLER NAME]
- Address: [ADDRESS]
- Company ID (IČO): [COMPANY ID]
- Email: [CONTACT EMAIL]
In these Terms, "we" and "us" mean the seller above, and "you" means the person who uses the Service.
2. The Service
The Service offers live, one-hour, one-on-one text sessions with an AI tutor for The Front-End Foundation course series. The tutor is a computer program based on a large language model. It is not a human and not the course author. Each session follows a lesson plan, runs for up to 60 minutes and ends with a written summary.
The AI tutor can make mistakes. Check important information yourself. The Service is for learning only, and we do not promise any particular result, grade, certificate or job.
3. Your account
- You sign in with your email address. Keep access to your email secure, because anyone who can read it can sign in.
- You must be at least 16 years old, or have the consent of a parent or guardian.
- Your account is personal. Do not share it or resell sessions.
4. Prices and payment
- Sessions are sold as credits in packs. One credit is one session. The prices are shown on the website before you pay, in euros, and are final prices. [VAT STATEMENT, e.g. 'Prices include VAT.' or 'The seller is not a VAT payer.']
- Payment is made by card or another method offered by our payment provider, Stripe. We never see or store your full card details.
- The contract is concluded when your payment is confirmed. The credits then appear in your account, and you receive a receipt by email from Stripe.
- Credits do not expire while the Service is operated.
5. How sessions work
- Starting a session uses one credit. A session lasts up to 60 minutes from the moment you start it, even if you leave the page.
- You can end a session early. The credit is still used.
- To keep the Service fair and affordable, a session may end earlier if it reaches technical limits on message length, number of messages or processing cost. In normal use, this does not happen.
- If a session cannot start because of a technical problem on our side, the credit is returned automatically.
6. Right of withdrawal (consumers in the EU)
If you are a consumer, you may withdraw from your purchase within 14 days of the payment, without giving a reason, for every credit you have not yet used.
Before buying, you expressly ask us to make the Service available straight away, and you confirm that you understand that you lose the right of withdrawal for a session once you start it, because the service is then fully provided. Credits you have used are therefore not refundable under the right of withdrawal.
To withdraw, send us a clear statement by email to [CONTACT EMAIL], for example using the model form below. We will refund the price of the unused credits within 14 days, using the same payment method, and remove those credits from your account.
Model withdrawal form
To: [SELLER NAME], [ADDRESS], [CONTACT EMAIL]
I hereby give notice that I withdraw from my contract for the following service: Craftstack AI Tutor sessions (unused credits).
Ordered on: … / Name: … / Email address of the account: … / Date: …
7. Complaints
If something does not work as it should, for example a session broke down because of a fault on our side, write to [CONTACT EMAIL] with the date and a short description. We will reply and settle the complaint within 30 days, usually by returning the credit. This does not limit your rights under consumer law.
If you are a consumer and we cannot agree, you may turn to an alternative dispute resolution body. In Slovakia this is the Slovak Trade Inspection (Slovenská obchodná inšpekcia, www.soi.sk), which also supervises consumer protection.
8. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- try to make the tutor ignore its instructions, reveal its instructions, or do work unrelated to the lesson;
- send unlawful, abusive or harmful content, or other people's personal data;
- attack, overload or automate the Service, or try to get around its limits.
If you seriously or repeatedly break these rules, we may suspend your account. Unused credits are then refunded.
9. Your content
The code and messages you write stay yours. You allow us to process them to run your sessions and create your summaries, as described in the Privacy Policy. The lesson plans and course materials belong to us.
10. Liability
We provide the Service with reasonable care, but we cannot guarantee that it is always available or free of errors. We are not liable for indirect damage or lost profit. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or your rights as a consumer.
11. Changes and ending the Service
We may update these Terms. The version you accepted when buying applies to that purchase. If we stop operating the Service, we will refund all unused credits.
12. Applicable law
These Terms are governed by the law of the Slovak Republic. If you are a consumer living in another EU country, you also keep the protection of the mandatory consumer law of your country.
